RENE CAOVILLA

The Maison Rene Caovilla was founded by Edoardo Caovilla, the father of René Fernando Caovilla, in 1934 in Fiesso d’Artico, just a few miles from  Venice. This area, dotted by striking antique Palladian villas, has been the heartland of the handmade footwear tradition  since the glory days of the Republic of Venice. It is here that this story of uniqueness started, deeply intertwined with the  Venetian lifestyle, art, other-worldly creativity, far-sighted inventiveness, and the highest forms of artisanship. Here practice makes perfect: seasoned artisans create true works of art, painstakingly honing their skills day after day.

From sketch to sparkling shoe, the entire production cycle is still carried out in-house. Excellence is the byword at Caovilla, offering even the  most discerning clients dream shoes to behold forever.
