KATE SOMERVILLE
Kate Somerville founded her namesake paramedical esthetics skin clinic in 2004 before launching her brand that same year. The desire to launch her own skincare clinic (aka The LAB) was driven by her lifelong battle with eczema, partially due to the stress of a chaotic adolescence.
The skin clinic quickly got noticed after being visited by the most recognizable faces in Hollywood who could not get enough of Kate’s secret formula, which would give skin an instant boost of radiance and firmness while evening out skin tone and minimizing pores.
One day, one of Kate’s famous clients asked her to bottle the secret formula so she could take it with her on set. This request is the foundation of what is now Kate Somerville Skincare along with its bestseller, ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliator.
